Mark Kercher
Retired Partner of Ernst & Young,

Mr. Kercher is a retired partner from the accounting firm of Ernst & Young (EY).  Mark began his career with the firm in Buffalo, New York in 1977 shortly after graduating from Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. Through the first 25 years at EY, Mark served clients in the healthcare industry throughout upstate New York and Western Pennsylvania. In 1998, Mark became the firm’s healthcare industry practice leader in Upstate NY. In 2002, Mark’s professional focus shifted away from the healthcare field and into larger, public companies with an emphasis on serving clients in the gaming and hospitality industry across the Northeast.  In 2006, Mark was transferred by EY to help run the recently opened Las Vegas, NV office. While in Las Vegas, Mark worked primarily with large resort casino clients throughout the

US, and Southeast Asia. Mark retired from EY in 2013 upon reaching the firm’s mandatory retirement age and (happily) relocated back to Buffalo.

 

Mark serves as Treasurer of the Richardson Center Corporation (RCC) and related entities. RCC is the non -profit organization responsible for preserving and restoring the internationally known architecturally historic Richardson Olmstead complex in Buffalo’s Arts Corridor. Mark previously served as an audit committee member at Roswell Park and as Treasurer of the NFJC.
